ABOUT

Artemis Midwifery is more than a private Midwifery service. At it’s foundations it is strong and powerful as the women and birthing people they are privilaged to support through the birthing journey. Feminist and inclusive, Artemis Midwifery is challenging the system through rewriting our expectations of midwifery care both within and outside of traditional birthing spaces. They are inspired and growing to support other midwives to do the same.

It was so very important that this branding reflect the feminine and divine power of birthing, and to encompass reference to historical artifacts that connect with one of the earliest, most important and soulful professions. As such, the branding has been inspired by block printing, greek mythology, paganism, witchcraft and feminine archetypes. Connecting on a primal level to the act of birthing and lunar cycles. Much of the imagery centres around the symbology of the Maiden, Mother and The Crone, and to the Goddess Artemis herself.

With a earthy, grounded and feminine vision, we brought Artemis to life through with the colours of the Northern Rivers landscape to create a sense of calm, safety and home.
